This is the 1/35 scale resin figure from Wolf Minatures. It comes as a single cast piece of resin with no blemishes, bubbles and very little clean-up required. The casting is very crisp and I was impressed with the detail - and I particularly like the relaxed pose!
I've painted the figure to represent an SS tanker during the Normandy campaign, wearing the 1943 camouflage coverall (Oak A fall pattern). The clothing is painted with a mix of various Humbrol enamels and the flesh painted with oils. At some point I intend to include this chap in a diorama.
Painting figures - especially faces - really isn't my strong point, so any comments and suggestions for improvement are welcomed!!
I would like to thank Walter Ritchie for photographing the figure. [View discussion] [Discuss my model]
