Injured Roman Warrior

This is a resin and metal combination figure from Pegaso (I think) that I did for a customer who's into ancient warriors. The base came with the figure and features a very nice shield that was just begging for some detail work. The figure itself is a bit unusual for a Roman warrior of the period, and they usually didn't wear long pants and sleeves. However, everything on the design suggested a soldier serving in England, so I presumed the clothes might have been done locally and did some embroidery on his tunic accordingly. A very nice, simple figure that tells a story.
