Sd.Kfz. 138/1 Bison

The model is based on the Dragon/Kirin Bison H 242. I have used the chassis and main armament from the kit. The rest is scratch built mainly from 0.5 mm styrene sheet. Most of the details are self made etched parts like the ammunition boxes and munition holders in the fighting compartment. Material used in these parts was 0.2mm copper sheet.

Painting resembles the one used on the self propelled guns of the 2nd SS Panzer Division in the autumn of 1944 and during the Ardennes operation later in the winter. I used stencils to make the pattern with an airbrush and the dots were hand painted.
