Supply for the Mobile Artillery

This diorama shows a Wespe receiving an ammunition and fuel supply delivered by an Opel Blitz. The Wespe is in firing position next to a heap of straw and puts defensive fire on the enemy. It stands in firing position near Gnilez, north of Kursk. The Wespe belongs to the PzArtRgt 92 of the 20th tank division, subordinate to the 9th Army of the Army Group South. This unit was used during Operation Citadel at beginning of July 1943.

The vehicles and figures are from Tamiya and Italeri and were built out of the box. The painting was done with acrylics and Modelmaster enamels. The ammunition comes from AFV-Club.
