General Kato Kiyomasa, Japan, 16th Century

This is one of my recent works that was completed on July 25th, 2004 for a client. This kit is a 90mm white metal figure from Poste Militaire, Sussex, UK (kit number 8664 VS1). Reference materials is from "Samurai" by S.R Turnbull, Osprey Publishing.

I was on my hands and knees in the goal to have this figure shows up representitively. I must admit that a lot of effort was poured into the prep work. It was challanging, fun, and kind of a bit relieving from all those armour and 1/35 kit I usually build. Danumurthi Mahendra took the shot.
