Leopard C1

This is my kit of a Canadian Leopard C1 circa late 1980's. I started out by using the old Tamiya kit, (a dog) of the Leopard 1A3 and converted it to Canadian service. Additions I used were HKCW tracks, Model Point barrel, the old Eduard PE set, Hoffman Device from a Tamiya Modern Equipment set, MV Lenses throughout, Accurate Armour tow cables and numerous scratch built details along with the LLTV cameras on the mantlet. The markings are a combination of Archer Dry Transfers and Quartermaster Depot wet decals over Tamiya NATO acrylic colours. Weathering was done with artist oils and MIG Pigments. The antennaes were damage in transit to the photo shoot. This Tank will eventually end up in a diorama on a Transporter I am currently finishing up.
