Days of Wrath, Beirut 1982

This diorama is representing a typical "street scene" from that period. Lebanese Forces in firefight with PLO on the border of Ashrafiyeh and the no man's land. Structure of the diorama and the buildings were built using foamcore with smaller details either cast in resin or made from styrene. Figures are a mixture of DML and Academy with heads from VP . Weapons and webbing came from different modern kits and some details were added from milliput. Vehicles are all Tamiya except the Jag which is Airfix. Entire dio was painted with acrylics and was weathered with oils and dry pastels. It also features a working light in one of the fully furnished rooms and sound effects chip. This diorama won gold medals in both MMM2003 and SMHQ2003.
