Sturmtiger

This is the Tamiya kit that I built some time ago. I built this kit out of the box and it went together like a dream. The only additions was an Eduard etched set. The ainting was done with an airbrush using Humbrol enamels. The colours were 94 Sand Yellow, 86 Green and 160 German Red Brown, these were sprayed over a base coat of Halfords black primer. The weathering was done with pastels and Windser and Newton oils to create a wash.

I never intended for this model to be so dirty but it was on display in my local model shop when it was gutted by fire last year but amazingly everything in the display cases survived (thankfully no one was hurt).
