Panther Ausf. A

This is the Dragon kit that I finished last year. The only additions to the model was the Eduard etched set and their etched Zimmerit set. The make up of the kit went OK but I admit I didn't like the etched Zimmerit. Painting was done with Tamiya acrylics airbrushed over a base coat of Halford's black primer, the Tamiya paints used were XF60 dark yellow, XF58 olive green and XF64 red brown. Weathering was done with oils and pastels. The decals were taken from Italeri's Tiger P kit as I found these settled down well over the Zimmerit. The figure is from Tamiya's early Tiger 1.
