M92 PNMK (KFOR)

This is an old Tamiya M113 kit (hull shell and wheels only) combined with the Accurate Armour PNMK conversion. Turret armour is scratchbuilt. The hull armour (front, side and rear) is from the MR Swiss Schutzenpanzer 63/89 conversion. Various other scratchbuilt elements, etched bits and Resicast lenses were added to enhance detail. The tracks are the AFV Club European M113 tracks with the end extenders cut off, to better depict the version commonly used by the Danish Army.

The model was painted in Tamyia acrylics, and weathered with MIG pigments in the anticipation that it will be part of a diorama some day. I created the Danish Shield and flag myself on a computer and printed them onto waterslide decal paper. The authentic registration number plates (again I printed these on decal paper) were kindly provided by Bjoern Clausen, creator of http://www.howitzer.dk (check out his website, and also his PNMK model here on track-link.. fantastic!).
