M-60A1, Esercito Italiano

This is a M-60A1 tank serving in the Italian Army, Divisione Corazzata "Ariete", during the '80s. It's an old Tamiya 1:35 kit, much modified to obtain the italian version (I scratchbuilt smoke dischargers, used a different gun barrel, modified gun mantlet, scratchbuilt new driver's mirrors, detailed front highlights and used tracks from AFV Club because tracks that are mounted on italian M-60A1 have a different design from the ones used by the americans).
I painted it with Model Master colors by airbrush, then I weathered it with pastels and covered it with dust, simulated with chalks.
