Ferdinand

This is the 1/35th scale Ferdinand from Dragon. It was dtailed with an Aber photo-etched kit. I used a roller made from a watchmaker's screwdriver gri for the zimmerit pattern. The figures are scratch-built from epoxy putty. I useed to use fine brass rod for the antenna. I know the Germans used a more thick and tapered antenna, but for me I feel it bit dull for my model. I painted the tank with lacquer, enamel and oil as usual. I sprayed the gun powder smoke around the gun barrel, actually I know that German Army used smokeless gun powder, but I think it makes the tank look more realistic as an AFV model.
