T-55

Here’s a burned out T-55 I actually made for “Stormin Norman” but have given up trying to find out how to get in touch with him. I made this a few years ago and it took me over two years to complete. It’s based on a famous photo from Desert Storm. It is a kit bash of many kits but I believe it started out as the AMT T-55. It’s got lots of Eduard photo etch, many scratch built parts (made my own cannon) and the AA gun is Verlinden. Fruilmodel tracks, naturally. The burned out wheels were turned on a lathe and then cast. Shortly after my model was posted on another site a company came up with these same wheels (then my model suddenly was taken off the site, never to reappear), hmmmm. Should have stayed with Track Link. I’ve learned my lesson.
