M3A1 Stuart

This is an M3A1 Stuart, a Verlinden 1/15th scale kit. The suspension as well as the idler and sprocket wheels, was rebuilt to correct the accuracy of the kit. The tracks are replaced, by new fully movable ones, so the tank can move. The sandshields and deep water forking trunk, are made from plasticard. It was painted to represent a vehicle from the 144th Regt. RAC. 33rd Armd. Brigade in France 1944.
