M101 105mm howitzer

This is another model of U.S. artillery pieces that are submitted to Track-Link. It is Italaerei’s M101 105mm howitzer. The gun shield was replaced using .010 inch Evergreen styrene and rivets made using a Waldron punch and die set. The coil under the gun was remade using Evergreen styrene and bras wire coiled up to make the spring. The gun was painted using Tamiya paints, Winsor/Newton watercolor washes and PollyScale drybrushing. The model was finished in 1995.

A good model that today could be enhanced with the available Eduard photo-etch set.
