This is the DML model, with Eduard PE, Karaya tow cables and a scratch-built spare antenna tube. It's finished as a 2nd Kompanie vehicle, just after the battle of Orel in July 1943. The crews removed the tool boxes to the rear of the vehicle after the battle, as it was found that they got shot to bits on the sides. There are several pictures in Munchs' excellent "Combat History of sPzJag Abt 653" showing where the crews slapped on some (I assume, green) paint on the patch left behind and I have replicated this on my model. I used Tamiya acrylics, and followed the original patterns where possible from Munch's photos. I followed up with oil washes/filters, then a dry-brush with Humbrol 74 Linen. Finally, a light spray over the running gear/sides with Tamiya Buff to simulate steppe dust. The transfers are Archers, and the large red 2nd Kompanie ID panel at the rear conformed really well over all the lumps and bumps.
