M4A4 Sherman, Chinese 1st Tank Battalion, Burma, 1945

This is the old Dragon kit upgraded with Tiger Models hatches and Eduard P/E. The marking came from the kit but had to be painted over because the decals were too thin and the Olive Drab showed through. The tiger face was used by the Chinese to scare the Japanese troops. Didn't work. Oddly, the US used similar markings on their Shermans in the Korean War where it didn't work either. The figures are modified from a Tamiya set and the Budda is part of a Verlinden set.
