T-70 Light Tank

This is a scratch-built T-70 in approximately 1/35 scale. I built it in 2002, upon returning to the hobby after a long absence. It is my second attempt at scratch-building. The road wheels and tracks are modified from the Tamiya Panzer II. Otherwise, its mostly sheet and strip stock styrene with PE engine screens and items from the spares box. The AA gun is a combo of various small arms parts with a scratch-built early mount. The tank was finished with an acrylic artist's compound for texture, Tamiya acryics (black under coat), oil washes and pastels. Markings are hand-painted.
