Sherman M4A1, El-Alamein

I always wanted to build a desert Sherman because it has some of the most interesting camouflage schemes available. This Sherman tank that I built represents "C" Squadron of the 9th Lancers of the 2nd Armoured Brigade, 1st Aromured Division. I used the Dragon kit with a few modifications including the Tamiya M3 suspension, a stowage bin at the rear turret comes from Italeri's Crusader, AFV Club rubber pad tracks, scratch-built sand shields and railings.
