This has to be one of the best artillery pieces that I have ever finished. The kit is by ICM and it is a beauty. I like it even better because it is something other than a German 88.
This model was built straight from the box and completed April 2002. It is a rather large gun with the finished model measuring 270 mm. Base color is Tamiya Dark Green with Winsor/Newton oils for washes and drybrushing. Weathering was completed using No. 2 pencil, pastels, watercolors and Hudson & Allen mud.
I’m not too sure on the current availability of the kit but it is worth getting. I also believe that Eduard makes a photo-etch set that would only help to enhance an already great kit.
