Banzai !

This is one of Airfix's 1/32nd scale Japanese infantry multi-pose figures. By far this set is about the best set of styrene figures depicting Japanese ever made. They are large however being a larger scale. Even though they are more than 20 years old they hold up very well even compared to DML's Gen-2 figures. The flag depicts the flag my father brought back from World War II. The markings are various major cities in Japan.

This is Airfix's figure painted in oils. It was finished using Winsor/Newton oil paints in 1992. It appeared as part of an article in Military Modeller in 1994.
