M577 Command Post

This is the M577, as you all know already. I bought it at the Stockholm open in april. The kit is pretty old as I noticed some of the moldings was not up to date with Tamiya's nowadays batch of kits. Even the Italeri M113's are better than this kit. I did some touch-ups here and there and scratchbuilt the storage compartments on the roof. I built this vehicle to represent some of the M577's used in Bosnian. To give the kit a better look I decided to scratchbuild the mast. Anyway, I took some ideas from a book that I had bought showing some M577 with the mast and extra storage boxes made by the crew.

I also removed some mouldings, like the mast attachement rings and scratcbuilt new ones. I think the overall look gives it a nice touch than the simple boring out-of-box build. I hope you guys like the finish model.
