Here is the Italeri/Zvezda ISU-152. Its built PDCTOOB (pretty dang close to out of the box). I used an aluminum barrel and muzzel brake, but I bought it so long ago that I cant remember what companay it was. The kit tracks were really bad so I used a spare set from one of my Turmpeter KV-1 kits (the rubber band ones). It may not be an exact match, but hey, I am a government worker. The engine screens I scratched using some of the plastic mesh from one of the old Trumpeter Type 59 kits and some styrene strip. I applied a thin coat of Mr Surfacer 500 on most of the flat plate portions to get a rolled plate effect. the Cast gun mount received several coats of Srufacer 500. Its painted with Model master Russian topside green. Weathered with white oil wash to fade the paint, then Brunt Sienna and Raw Sienna oil washes. The mud was an experiment. A combination of Brunt Sienna oil paint, turpenoid and MMP powder Medium Earth and MMP Concrete Dust. When this dried, the texture was pretty good, but the color was very monotone. I tried another experiment and brushed on the mud a thick coat of Testors Dullcote Lacquer. This had the effect of darkening the thin parts of the mud while the thicker parts stayed light, also any concentrations of the Concrete Dust came out more. This had a much better effect, in my opinion. Then an over dusting of the tracks and lower portions of the tank with MMP Medium Earth powder. Paint chips with pencil. Kit decals used.
