Sd.Kfz 222

This is the Tamiya Sd.Kfz 222 built straight out of the box. It was a fun, well fitting, reliable easy kit to build. The painting is brushed on with Tamiya acrylics. To try to add realism to my models I usually prime them using an undercoat of sprayed on steel paint then I scratch through the finish paint using antiquing methods then a dry brush with steel again. Then weathering can be done to match the theatre. The decals were from the parts box.
