King Tiger (production turret)

This is Tamiya's Production King Tiger built out of the box. It was painted with with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with airbrushed acrylics and pastels. I used Rustall on the mufflers. Some of the chipping is done with an X-Acto knife. I then painted the chipped area a very dark gray followed by dark yellow. This gives the effect that the dark yellow was showing though in some of the chipped areas. I also decided to leave the three color scheme on the wheels but it is hard to see that with the amount of dirt and wear.
