VW Car

This is Tamiya's 1/48th scale VW Car. It was an easy weekend project, finished in under four hours and built straight out of the box. It was paint in German Grey, contrary to the instructions. It was weathered with oils and pigments. The base is a stained craft plaque with ground work made from model railroading products. This was a nice break from the serious detail modelling I normally submerge myself into.
