Horch 1A

Model by Michael Bedard

This is Tamiya’s Horch 1A with Eduard photo-etch set added. I actually started the model back in the mid 1980s and had it sitting around since. There are some things I would have done different if I started it now. Back then I wrapped the folded top with tissue to create a more canvas look. It wasn’t too bad so I decided to leave it. The model was brought out of the mothballs and finished April 2006.

Tamiya and PollyScale paints were used to finish the model. Vallejo paints were used on the equipment and for paint scratches and final drybrushing. Winsor/Newton oil paints were used for washes, 1st step drybrushing and weathering glazes (or as Mig calls them ‘filters’). Pigments used for dust and mud.
