M13-40, Italian Army, Libya 1942

This is the old Tamiya offering reworked to M13/40, the kit is apparently an M14/41. It has Model Kasten Tracks, which don't fit the Tamiya kit well, an some photo-etched details here and there. The figures are from Warriors and Model Victoria. All the painting was done with acrylics and the weathering with oils and pastels. The scene represents a a lull in the fighting with some fuel being brought back; the commander is watching the sky for Allied Kitty Hawks and Hurricanes.
