Horch 15

Italeri makes this model of the Horch 15. I started the model about 20 years ago and it has sat around since then. At one time I was going to vac-u-form the hood and in doing so broke the piece. I had to remake part of the hood with epoxy putty to finish the build. I may have done some thing different if I started the kit today.

Added to the kit was Eduard photo-etch set (35114), MV lenses behind the blackout shields, and a scratch-built folded top made of Evergreen styrene strips and craft tissue. Accessories come from Tamiya, Verlinden, Hudson & Allen and Plus Models. Finishing is my typical acrylic paints and various other finishing products.

The model was finished April 2006 along with three other German soft-skinned vehicles.
