This is the Shanghai Dragon Brummbar late. This is the first kit I completed after poring over the TL newsgroups. It is my first attempt at zimmerit (using Squadron green putty at first, then the Tamiya putty), using the method described by Paul on the TL website. I painted the upper and lower halves separately, following the method described in the "Painting the Greenland Way" article. It's also my first attempt at weathering using pastel chalks. I really like how they work out. Oh, and this was also my first attempt at indy link tracks.
I was pretty pleased in the end, and for less than $20 (CDN) I heartily recommend this kit. It was the longest, most involved project I have completed to date, but also the most satisfying when complete! The side skirts were completed with a camouflage design based on some photos in the Schiffer Wespe book. A little artistic licence on my part.
I just added a few photos I had. Boy, lighting affects the color a fair bit!! How about that for the paint chip brigade?!
