CVR(T) Scimitar

Here is a photograph of my AFV Club Scimitar. The vehicle is shown as it was during the built up of Allied Forces prior to Desert Storm. The kit is basically straight from the box except: new bins made from plastic strip and Accurate Armour photoetched mesh. The first part of the gun has a canvas cover made of Squadron Green Putty. Mudflaps have been cut out from a Coke can. Extra stowage come from the Italeri modern equipment set (some of the rolls have been modified to fit the bins). Overall not a bad kit but the detail is uneven, ranging from excellent to mediocre. The tracks are way too tight (I tried to stretch them a bit before putting them on) and there are many sinkholes on the periscopes faces.
