Whippet

This one is of a 1/35 Emhar Whippet model. it was the first model I built after a 10+ year absence from the hobby. it was built straight out of the box and was used mainly as a refresher course and weathering practice.

The model was painted in Floquil Rail Road colors and then weathered in oils. The model was first coated in a thin layer of mineral spirits and then premixed washes of Burnt Umber, Yellow Ochre, and Linen White were randomly added. The details were picked out with a darker washes of Raw Umber and a mild drybrush with lightened Raw Umber. The dirt build up was done with extra fine Celluclay.
