Sherman II

This is a British M4A1 North Africa circa 1942. The base kit is the old Nichimo kit I obtained off e-bay. The hull vision ports were added and a cast texture was created with Mr. Surfacer. Bogies and transmission housing were taken from Tamiya's Lee kit. I think the turret is from a DML kit. The Model was finished in Tamiya paints, black and desert sand. The figures are Tamiya as well. The commander is from the Matilda and the other is from the Grant I think.The tracks are Dragon. I gave the tank a wash of a light dust colour, rather than a normal dark wash. I also added some dust effects with the airbrush, most noticeably on the fenders. Finally I added some chipped paint. The packs and bed rolls were taken from the spares box.
