WZ. 36 37mm Anti-Tank Gun

RPM makes this little gun. Seats and wheels are resin cast and they had some air bubbles that need to be dealt with. Aber photo-etch set was used to enhance the model (especially the gun shield). A Waldron punch and Die set was used to create the rivets that adorn the shield.

Tamiya paints were used as a base coat with Winsor/Newton oils used to drybrush. My usual array of watercolors, pigments, Hudson & Allen mud and graphite were used to weather the gun. The model was completed February 2004. I was able to find a vac-u-form kit of the vehicle that towed the gun. This should be fun!
