This is the old Tamiya Centurion Mk. III kit, with a lot of extras and TLC added, painted to resemble "Nasser's Nightmare," a vehicle with the 6th Royal Tank Regiment, deployed in Operation "Musketeer" during the Suez Crisis of 1956. Aftermarket upgrades include a Barrel Depot BD35021 barrel, Eduard 35845 PE, Accurate Armour PE skirt set, and. Friul ATL-65 tracks and sprocket set. Decals are from the new Bison #35043 Suez 1956 sheet. Finished with Tamiya and Model Master paints, oil washes. I didn't go too heavy on the weathering for two reasons: (a) I was looking for a just-off-the-boat appearance, and (b) the PE skirts are easily knocked off.
