Rooftop Recon

After completing the construction and painting of a 1/16 scale figure, my 23 yr old son took it to his shop for dispaly. He works at Fantasy Knights here in Albany Oregon. A role playing, gaming store, which has expanded it's inventory with a limited amount of model kits.

My son has been assembling and painting pewter fantasy figures for awhile, some on commission, and gave me this extra figure to paint. Warning me that painting pewter is very different from plastic. Well, after applying a light gray basecoat, I started painting the figure using acrylics and enamels. The arcylics dry very quick, so mixing, shading, and higlights were done on the go.

It was a fun project and I was able to teach my son a few "tricks" along the way. I hope you enjoy this submission.
