Lost in France

Diorama by Arthur Sekula

This small diorama consists of a Tristar's Panzer IV Ausf. D and an Alpine and two converted Dragon figures. It represent a panzer and crew lost in the evening somwhere in France during the Blitzkrieg of 1940. The buildings and the cat are scratchbuilt. The street light is operational, it runs on 1.5V batteries hidden within the structure. The murals on the walls are old decals offerings from Ancona models. The posters, signage, cigarette pack and maps are from Dioart. Everything, except the figures' fleshtones which are in oils, is painted with acrylics and then weathered with oils and pigments.
