M4A3E8 Sherman

The base kit is DML's M4A3E8 "Thunderbolt VII". I didn't really add a great deal of exterior detail but did add a few small parts (spotlight, tow cable, etc). The M2 .50 cal is Academy's. The vision cupola is from Formations. The interior is largely scratch with some Verlinden and a bit of Tank Workshop. It is not /totally/ complete, but I'd say 95%. Maybe next time... In person, the interior is highly visible, but it would take many photos to show it. The model was painted in a basecoat of ModelMaster enamel OD with various oil washes. I tried a lot of new materials and techniques on this model. It was a good experience and I look forward to the next model.
