Panzer III Ausf J, Germany, Eastern Front

The base kit is the old DML Panzer III kit.Hull front plat, commander cupola and Loader/Guner hatches are from GunzeSangyo interior kit.The tracks are built from original track links. The track guides was drilled through one by one.PE from The Show Modeling and Aber. The figures are also from GunzeSangyo.Sratchbuilt there and there.I started the build in 2005, on and off for a while until recently finished the kit. The model was painted with Tamiya Panzer Grey as base colour and then heavily weathered with Dry Pigments from Burnt Umber.
