Tiger 1 Late, 2 Kompanie sSS Pz Abt 101

This is the latest DML Tiger 1, finished as "212", one of the two most likely VB mounts [along with 231] of Michael Wittman. The Wittman figure was from the first DML Tiger 1 late which I had hanging about. The zimm was made from thinned Squadron Green putty using the Tamiya zimm tools.

The kit is excellent; having made the first DML Tiger 1 I would say I only regretted not having the metal barrel, side skirts and exhaust covers. The vinyl DS tracks are an improvement IMHO over the "Magic Tracks" purely because they have hollow guide horns. Let's face it, track sag isn't an issue with Tigers; just from the sprocket to the 2nd roadwheel set anyway, and the DS vinyls do just fine.
