RSO / 03

This is the Revell RSO/03 (late) finished as a vehicle abandoned after the Ardennes offensive in Dasburg. It features in the ATB "Battle of the Bulge" Then and Now book. The Revell kit needed some minor tweaks such as the rear bed tilt supports needed to be reduced from 4 to 2, and heavy "wooden" supports replaced the kit's plastic ones. I also changed the rear convoy light and jack for Tamiya versions. I added some interior details to the cab from what references I could glean from the net. The tracks are Fruilmodel, and are excellent.

The trailer is by Italeri, and I added some etched brass details from the spares box, as well as a DML axe to replace the Italeri offering. I threw a few boxes of 75mm Panther ammo and boxes that I had hanging around into the load bed.
