T-62M1-2

1/35 Tamiya T-62A kit converted with the SP Designs kit that is now out of production. The conversion was very inclusive, I only had to add fuel lines for the fender fuel tanks, swapped out Tamiya T-55 wheels for those in the kit, tow cable from the spares box, and all the various crew accessories from the spares box as well.

The base is foam and tile grout on wood. Snow/frost is Tamiya flat (Yup, a good use for it sraight out of the bottle) and microbubbles. Some spares-box BMP tracks were added for "excitement!" ;)

Painted Model Master Acrylic Dark green with pre and post shading. Only a tinted future glaze was added for depth as well as pastels. (This is a slightly older project... I only just decided to start working with oils).
