KingTiger, Normandy 1944

This is my Revell 1:72 scale King Tiger. It was built out of the box with addition of some small parts (grab handles, lift hooks, headlamp cable etc.) out of fine wire, some PE mesh and zimmerit (Green stuff epoxy). I painted with acrylics with weathering done with oils and artist pencils. Decals are kit supplied and had to be liberally soaked with Microsol in order to conform to the zimmerit. I wish the kit supplied tracks were a bit better otherwise its a nice kit in this small scale.
