Elephant

Model by Antonio Martin Tello

This is Italeri's Elephant, Antonio comments that it is a nice kit, despite its somewhat old age. Basically he build it straight from the box, just detailing some small things with plastic card and metal sheet. He changed the pattern of the bolts in the frontal armor, just besides the MG mount, since it appears inverted in the model. The zimmerit patern with a soldering iron with blade attached. Antonio painted the base colour with a brush and red brown camouflage lines with an airbrush. The final look is achieved by some drybrushing. The figure is from Verlinden with a Hornet head. Markings are for an Elephant used during the spring/summer of 1994 in Italy, near the Anzio bridgehead.
