M4A2 Sherman

Model by Scott Dimmick

This model represents a M4A2 of the Soviet Army in Hungary 1945. I used the Tamyia M4A3 as the basis of the conversion. I used the Tank workshop M4A2 rear deck conversion and T-23 "early" Turret, a RJ 76mm gun with the muzzle brake, an Aber PE set for the Sherman and RHPS new 3 cleat steel track to finish it off.

The Model was painted using the post-shading technique. It was primed over all in flat black then the highlights where airbrushed with Model Master olive drab. Then it was dry brushed using an oil mix of yellow ocher and black. For weathering Floquil Mud was sprayed on the lower surfaces and pastels and Rustall was added to the tracks to finish the weathering on model.
