Tiger I (P) at Trials

This is meant to be one of the first 5 hulls completed by Porsche for the Tiger I competition. Only the first 5 had the teardrop style track skids, which I had to scratch build. Some had the PZ IV style turret bin, since I lost mine, I scratch built the mounts but left it off. Besides, I like the way it looks better this way. Fenders along the side came later. The tracks are wrong. The Italeri kit tracks were of course trash. These early type had guide horns on each link. I used Modelkasten Ferdinand tracks. To get guide horns on each link would have required two sets, WAY more than I wanted to put into this model. Eventually I want to build a base, but not at this time.
