CMP 2 Pounder Portee

This started as the Tamiya Quad but the only unaltered componant ended up being the wheels. The rest is scratch built from plastic card and rod or brass sheet. The gun is from Sovereign 2000. This is quite a rare piece of kit but is based on a vehicle I photographed at the Muckleburgh Collection in Norfolk and pictures in an old Wheels and tracks Magazine. On the issue of scale the Tamiya Quad is actually closer to 1/32 mind you when you measure the Sovereign 2 Pounder it also turns out to be 1/32 as well! The vehicle belongs to the 7th Anti Tank Regiment of the 2nd New Zealand Division in North Africa 1942.
