Sherman IC Hybrid

This is the DML Hybrid IC Firefly, depicting a vehicle of the Governor General's Foot Guards (21 CAR) in Germany, late 1944/early 1944. The basis of the model was a GGFG IC Firefly in a photo in Steve Guthries' "The Sherman in Canadian Service" - an excellent little reference.

I added some spare PE and other oddments from the spares box to improve the kit, and loads of stowage from the new Resicast Sherman stowage sets.

It was painted in Xtracrylics British OD, which dries to a slight sheen. I quite like the look of it, so I didn't matt coat the model as per usual.
