Grizzly - Quebec Homefront 1944

Model by Patrick Bernier

Here's my Canadian Grizzly in exhibition in Quebec City in 1944 to recruit fresh troops and sell some war bonds. I have wanted to build a Grizzly for years and since it never saw action, I thought it was a good idea to represent a homefront scene.

I used the Dragon M4A1 early kit with Eduard light guards PE set + some Aber parts. The early fire extinguishers on the flanks are from a nice little set from Aber. The tracks are resin offering from S-Models. Those were very badly cast and needed a lot of work. I even used 2 sets for this single tank !! The other modifications were scratchbuilt.

The officer is from Resicast and the civilian is from Verlinden. The posters were printed on a laser printer and were downloaded from the Canadian war museum website.
