Universal Carrier

Close on David Willams' heels, here is my version of the Universal Carrier. The basic kit also was the ubiquitous "Bren Carrier" by Tamiya modified with Resicast Set 35.197 Universal Carrier Mk II, Infantry Platoon Carrier. This set holds a lot of new, improved parts for the body of the vehicle such as an entirely new engine block, engine firewall/bulkhead, new drivers compt. floor amongst others. Also used is Resicast Set 35.293 Universal Carrier Stowage No. 1 which contains enough stowage for 2 Carriers plus the "crushed" suspension as seen on many Carriers. Both sets are excellent and highly recommended.
